In this episode of Keeping Tempo we take a look at the Victrola XVI, made circa 1921-1924. The Victrola XVI was renamed to the Victrola No. 120 in 1921 to reflect Victor's new naming scheme. The instrument included record albums, a gold-plated 12-inch turntable, a Victrola No. 2 sound box, a semi-automatic brake, and an automatic speed indicator.
