Victor XXV | Keeping Tempo

September 11, 2020
In this episode of Keeping Tempo we take a look at the Victor XXV, made circa 1913-1925. Referred to as the "Schoolhouse Victor," this machine was manufactured with a plain cabinet and was designed for use in educational institutions. The lid was removable so it could be turned around and hung backward from the rear of the cabinet when the horn was in place. The shelf on the bottom was hinged so the horn could be stored underneath when not in use. MSU Libraries: http://lib.msstate.edu Charles H.
